How to see who is waiting for a reply on WhatsApp Web
The chat slides down the list and disappears. It is not carelessness: with forty conversations a day, what leaves the screen leaves your head. Zapkit builds the list of people waiting on you, by looking at who spoke last.
Step by step
- Install Zapkit and turn on "Waiting for a reply" in features.
- The sidebar button shows how many chats are unanswered.
- Open the list, reply, then mark as handled or snooze it.
The rule is simple, and that is why it works
Any chat whose last message is theirs, within the window you picked, is on the list. No tag to apply, no process to follow: the list builds itself from what is already there.
It clears when you solve it
Reply and it is gone. You can also mark it handled or snooze it for a few hours. And if the person writes again, it comes back on its own, because it is your turn again.
Groups are out by default
In a group the last message is almost always someone else’s, and including them all would fill the list with noise. You can include them if your work happens in groups.
